Children's Religious Education & Youth Committee
We are working with Deb W., Religious Educational consultant and are looking to hire a Religious Education Coordinator during this transitional time. Volunteers are implementing children and youth activities. Please see the calendar for details.
Saturday, October 30th: Retreat with Deb W
Originally, this was planned that Deb W would "facilitate a retreat (½ day) for members of the religious education committee and the religious education coordinator as well as other lead teachers and/or RE support staff or lay leaders, to focus on the elements needed to make the 2021-22 year successful. Consultant to provide notes and suggestions for further RE committee focus at the conclusion of the retreat." Instead of focusing on this tactical work, we talked about the greater need, adaptive change.
Saturday, September 4th Minutes
Thank you to Maureen for taking charge of the the Interim consultant hiring and onboarding and the coordinator search, to Diane E for baking all the breads and to everyone who has volunteered for the programs!!
In alignment with the Old Ship Gathering Policy, we are planning the following programs in person, led by the following people:
Events, volunteers and participants will be tracked in Breeze.
Until we hire a Religious Education Coordinator, volunteers will be covering Sunday mornings.
