“Mythic Visions” by Trio Gaia

March 8, 2026 at 4 p.m.

Old Ship Candlelight Concerts kicks off its season with the program Mythic Visions by New England Conservatory’s Trio Gaia on Sunday, March 8, at 4:00 p.m. in the Meeting House.

Comprised of violinist Grant Houston, cellist Yi-Mei Templeman, and pianist Ariel Mo, Trio Gaia formed in 2018 and is dedicated to offering audiences dynamic, personally relevant experiences inside and outside the concert hall. The trio won 1st Prize at the WDAV Young Chamber Musicians Competition, as well as prizes in the Premio Trio di Trieste International Music Competition, Chamber Music Yellow Springs Competition, and the Plowman National Chamber Music Competition. In Mythic Visions, Trio Gaia immerses audiences in colorfully engrossing works that explore the interplay between impressionistic sound worlds and mythological imagery.
